Confidential Reporting

Raise food manufacturing concerns through a confidential route without sending the message directly from your own email account.

How confidential reporting works

Confidential Reporting provides a route for raising concerns connected to food safety, authenticity, legality, quality or site activity.

Use the form to send a message to a nominated recipient without sending it directly from your own email account.

1. Write your message

Enter the concern you want to raise. Do not include your name, email address, job title, department, shift pattern, or any other detail that could be used to identify you.

2. Choose the recipient

Enter the email address of the person or reporting contact who should receive the message.

3. Message sent through Food Industry Hub

The recipient receives the message from the Food Industry Hub Confidential Reporting Service rather than from your own email account.

Submit a confidential report

Use this form to send a confidential message to your nominated recipient.

Do not include your name, email address, role, department or any other detail that could be used to identify you.

What happens when you submit a report

When you submit the form, the message is sent immediately by automated email to the recipient address you entered.

The recipient receives the message from the Food Industry Hub Confidential Reporting Service, not from your own email account. This means your own email address is not shown as the sending address.

Do not include your name, email address, role, department, shift pattern or any other detail that could be used to identify you.

Food Industry Hub does not assess, investigate, escalate or respond to reports submitted through this form. The receiving organisation remains responsible for reviewing concerns, recording outcomes and taking action where required.

Because the form does not collect your contact details, Food Industry Hub cannot confirm whether the recipient has received, opened, reviewed or acted on the message.
